Thrill Seekers

Despite a weather delay, the third annual Airborne Amputee Skydive went off smoothly in May. Sponsored by Limbs of Love, an organization that provides limbs for amputees, the Rosharon, Texas, event drew more than 150 participants, including 20 Wounded Warriors - men and women who have lost limbs in military service.

"Everywhere you look you see an amputee," said provider Joe Sansone, founder of Limbs of Love and CEO of TMC Orthopedic in Houston. "Whether young or old, they are active people who for the most part lead active lifestyles and they are here seeking the thrill of lifetime."
